FLOATING FAIRS IN YAKUTIA IN ТНЕ MIDDLE OF ТНЕ XVII - XIX CENTUIES
The article characterizes trading activities in У akutia which have been spread to а fairly large territory. It starts from the Kachuga village passes around the downstream of the Lena River and completes in У akutsk. Trading activity has been influenced on the formation of the open spatial urban environment. Great attention is paid to merchant vessels or otherwise floating markets in the middle of XVII century -beginning of XIX centuries.
The article describes the types of water transports, which were used in fairs on the banks of the Lena River. Also this study contains an analysis of the merchants' way along the Lena River which helped to identify the possiЫe route of floating fairs.
