VALIDITY OF CONCEPTUAL DIRECTION OF THE STUDENT'S COURSE PROJECT “CHILD'S PLAYING ZONE”

Writing of the article is caused by the need to present facts, reasons and analytics
on credibility of conceptual approach towards the second grade student's course project
“Child's playing zone”, its goals and tasks. The article also includes evaluation of effectiveness
of such an approach throughout all the student's study program in the Architecture and Design
Department at the Pacific National University. Possible difficulties in understanding the main
goals and tasks of such course project are described. Author further states the reasons of gradual
transmission towards more conceptual character of students' work and articulates key aspects
and criteria of evaluation of students' course project “Child's playing zone”. The article explains
why emphasized conceptual character of this course project is necessary for acquiring valuable
professional skills during the studying process. For more information on the studying process in
general, statistics data and analysis are presented. For a greater visibility, the article contains
illustrations.
