EVALUATION OF THE INFLUENCE OF VARIOUS FACTORS ON THE ABILITY OF THE BILATERAL ARCS AT THEIR ELASTIC-PLASTIC CALCULATION

The work is devoted to the analysis of the calculation results for the loadcarrying
capacity of steel double-hinged arches of a parabolic outline with a variable amount of
internal forces entering into Mohr integrals, variable rigidity and flatness. A comparative evaluation
of the resulting ultimate (or destructive) load and the maximum load corresponding to the
method of permissible stresses is given. The effect of longitudinal forces on the bearing capacity
of two-hinged arches in the limiting state and metal capacity is investigated.
