PREPARATION OF EXPANDED POLYSTYRENE IN REMOTE QUARRIES

The article deals with the peculiarities of polystyrene in remote quarries. Heat treatment of polystyrene was held in the fluid density, providing a boiling point 100, 102, 104 and 106°С. With the increase of the temperature the speed increases, however, the higher the boiling temperature, the lower increase in speed. In addition, at a boiling temperature above 104 degrees With significant sintering of EPS granules, which leads to difficulty heat treatment within clumps and requires additional energy consumption for their destruction, so it is recommended to limit the boiling temperature of the specified value.

Keywords: polystyrene, remote quarries, boiling temperature.
