ADDITIVE TECHNOLOGIES AS A WAY FOR IMPLEMENTATION OF THE SPATIAL STRUCTURE IN ARCHITECTURE AND DESIGN
Additive technologies continue to develop very rapidly, and their capabilities
open up new horizons in architecture and design. The article considers the general idea of
additive technologies, as a tool for the formation of architectural objects. Also listed are the
main types of technologies, methods and material used for printing, advantages and disadvantages.
Presented are experimental projects using 3D printing of various leading architectural
campaigns dealing with these technologies. 3D printing or additive technologies make it possible
to optimize geometry and create forms that can be adapted to specific users or their tasks.
