BOSPORSKAYA PELIKE WITH RED BROADCASTING 340 -320 BC

The subject of our study was a pelike of an unknown master made in 340-320
BC. Red-figure painting imparts beauty to the vase and drawings on the vase give important
information for historical research. In itself, red-figured vase painting is one of the most famous
techniques of ancient Greek vase painting. The process of studying this pelike has revealed
many interesting facts about the paintings, the purposes of creating vessels and facts about the
history and myths of Ancient Greece. There facts are connected not only with this vase, but also
with the time of its creation in general.
