MUTUAL TRANSITION OF SCIENCE AND ART FROM REALISM TO FORMALISM

This article deals with the art, which developed in parallel with the science
field. Science and art have a close relationship. Also, the both have passed long period from the
classical vision of the surrounding world to virtual world and cosmos. The article describes the
main revolution 20th century of the science and an influence on contemporary art. A research
shows that the art moves from fundamentalism to esotericism and sensuality. Today art interact
not only with geometry or physics, but also with philosophy, programming and Nanotechnologies.
Contemporary art is a result of a consistent transition from classicism to abstractionism
and formalism.
