FAVORABLE SOUND ENVIRONMENT IN THE SPACES OF EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTION

The article is devoted the techniques for creating an acoustically comfortable environment
in educational institutions. Based on scientific works of specialists from Germany, The Great
Britain in this field, the article considers the characteristic features improved sound environment. Also
the basic methods of acoustic design to ensure safe and effective stay of participants of educational
process in classrooms and lecture groups, hallways, recreational areas and gyms. Among them also
highlighted the use of environmentally friendly and safe insulation materials, the specific features of
the spatial structure of the room, soft floor and wall coverings; high and decorative walls and shelves;
drapery window openings; acoustic doors and soundproof floors. All conclusions are based on studies
of Swedish and Russian experts in the field. The article includes illustrations that demonstrate the use
of certain techniques for noise insulation.
