This research analyzes the principles of project and art interaction in design, where design is being defined as a cultural phenomenon immersed in the process of social communication. Design’s creative activity is realized on the level of world view, vitality, morphology, axiology and semantics.
The foundations of project-art interactions in design are being looked at as they are based on the aesthetic nature of design’s cultural forms. The levels of project-art interaction in design, such aesthetic reflection modules as “Me”, “You”, “He”, are being analyzed.
In the context of symbolic interactionism, project-art interaction is understood as a communicative space of improvement and development of cultural forms within the environment, as well as ways of interaction amongst people. Communication processes on a subject only, subject-subject, or subject-object levels are determined by the value content of the meaning. This is where we are able to find axiological foundations of project-art interactions in design – aesthetic values.
Aesthetic foundations of project and art interactions, along with the value-semantic component, are defined by the mediating ability of design’s artefacts – by their ability to transfer their metaphysical meanings at all communicational levels, where aesthetic value is understood in its truth and beauty.
