THE EDUCATION PROGRAM OF SCHOOL OF ARCHITECTURAL DEVELOPMENT AND SOME ASPECTS OF THEORY OF ARTS BY A. G. GABRICHEVSKY

The system of education in the School of architectural development is aimed
at education “the creative persons with mentality of innovators”. The process of forming the
method of self-development was organized [2, p. 54, p. 202]. The system of architectural education
that formed in 20-th century in industrial epoch is orientated on the training of highly
skilled personnel, in accordance with prices list of specialties. For this purpose, it was enough to
ensure monotype educational process for all professional institutions. So, the mentality of the
main part of specialists is formed as an executive. In postindustrial society the system of architectural
education will turn into institute that will prepare specialist with heuristic, researching
mentality; the subjects of education will get new possibility for building training programs. Exchange
of opinions, analysis student’s masterpieces, investigations and publications - all this is
the usual works of collective.
Now we want to offer researchers a new methodological resource – round-up and analysis
of the creative work of teachers in the stream of School’s methodical strategy.
Such direction is traditional for Moscow architectural school, typical for most wellknown
architects and artists (V.I. Bazhenov, M.F. Kazakov, D.M. Bycovsky, O.O. Artary, F.F.
Richter, A.K. Savrasov, V.A. Serov).
Collaboration of students and teachers is especially urgent today, when self-education is
becoming the most important element in mastering of the profession.
We will also look at some aspects of the fundamental theory of the arts by A.G.
Gabrichevsky.
