INFLUENCE OF DEMOGRAPHIC SITUATION ON ARCHITECTURE OF PRESCHOOL EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS IN THE CITY OF KHABAROVSK
The study is devoted to identifying the dependence of degradation and the development of the architecture of kindergartens in the city of Khabarovsk, depending on changes
in the demographic situation. The period from the end of the 20th century (demographic crisis)
to the present is analyzed. The article discusses the state of the architecture of kindergartens in
Khabarovsk, changes in the existing education system and the architectural and planning structure of the kindergarten, the mismatch of Soviet preschool institutions with social and regulatory requirements. The analysis of the demographic situation in the city is made. The author analyzes the years of construction of working kindergartens’ buildings, in order to show the volume
of construction of preschool institutions in the last century and today.
