CASCADE COLLISION OF VEHICLES ON THE ROAD AND THEIR DYNAMIC CALCULATION

The article is devoted to the study of the dynamics of a complex type of traffic
accident - the collision of many vehicles in a certain period of time. The most non-obvious
incidents of this type are cascading collisions resulting from the impact interaction of two cars
and entailing all subsequent ones. Restoring the cascade collision mechanism means recreating
the step-by-step movements of all vehicles under the impact action. To do this, the entire
kinematic picture of the incident as a whole is determined. A system of dynamic equations
based on the laws and theorems of theoretical mechanics is made.
The calculation involves information about the values that can be set by analyzing the
possible movements of cars. The implementation of the method is the calculation of all before
and after shock linear and angular velocities, as well as shock pulses. Information about speeds
allows to understand the causal links of such an incident and to determine the ability of drivers
to prevent an emergency on the road
