RENOVATION OF WAR BUNKER CASE STUDY AND PROJECT
Military facilities for war constructed during the two world wars and cold war still exist and remain as ruins throughout the world. However, some of them have been well renovated and used for various purposes, such as houses, cultural hubs, and public facilities. This report provides information on excellent examples of war-bunker renovations. A case study of selected examples and a recent project, i.e., the “Nojima Bunker Hall” in Kanazawa-Hakkei, Yokohama, Japan, is conducted.
