THE INFLUENCE OF CONFESSIONS ON THE GARDEN ART IN CHINA

The article is devoted to the influence of Eastern religions: shamanism Taoism, Buddhism, Confucianism, on landscape art in China. It considers the impact of each specific religion separately. Also there was considered an indirect effect of confession on the gardens. Shamanism – is the most ancient religion originated in China. The first mystical parks appeared on the site of shrines or sacred land and intended for religious ceremonies. Taoism introduced to the gardens the way of space organizing - Fengshui.
Many parks were the prototypes of the gardens of the Taoist legends and tales. A huge number of temples were built in China along with Buddhism, and each temple had a garden. Confucianism is directly related to a traditional Chinese house-garden - siheyaun. Each religion had left its mark in the traditional Chinese garden.
